On February 12th, Shooting Fish Theatre Company presented Back Story at Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough, for which Blueprint created multimedia.

Back Story was written by young people from the Foundry Learning Centre in Gainsborough, with the support of professional artists from Shooting Fish, as part of the Gainsborough Literacy Project. The young people were involved as co-producers of the play taking an active role in auditioning actors, creating the set and designing flyers.

As an organisation, Shooting Fish have always seen the importance in engaging and supporting local communities through theatre and art, using their work to tackle social issues in innovative and creative ways as well as providing much needed creative activities. They are renowned for creating theatrical work alongside communities, often tying in our expertise in new writing to produce collaborative community works, mixing professional artists with disadvantaged or isolated communities. Blueprint has had a long working relationship with Shooting Fish, working with them on the popular Goole Bonfire each year.
