THE
PAST

Blueprint was founded in 2007 in Barton-upon-Humber, with a simple aim: to create high-quality films that made a difference.

From the beginning, we split our time between commercial projects and community filmmaking through our not-for-profit, Blueprint Film Foundation.

After moving to Lincoln a year later, we built deep roots in the city - working with local businesses, schools, and grassroots organisations. As we grew, the team naturally split into two branches: Blueprint Arts, continuing our community work, and Blueprint Film, focusing on branded content and commercial storytelling.

In 2015, growing demand from clients in the capital led us to open a second office in London. By 2020, like many, we adapted to remote working and used the time to expand our in-house animation capabilities, which have since become a core part of our offering.

In 2023, we opened new offices in Kent and London, reuniting the team and returning to the collaborative, creative studio culture we’d always valued.

THE
Present

Today, Blueprint works with a wide range of clients - from local authorities and national charities to international brands and purpose-led startups.

While the scale of our work has grown, we still value every project the same, whether it’s a global campaign or a one-off piece for a passionate small business.

Our team produces everything in-house, including animation, live-action, and aerial filming - giving us creative control from idea to delivery. We’ve filmed in over 10 countries in the past year, and our licensed drone operators and full production kit mean we’re ready for almost any brief.

Whether it's a campaign to raise awareness, drive behaviour change or build brand connection, we focus on telling real stories that resonate.

CHARITY

Giving back through film.

Community has always been at the heart of Blueprint - it’s where we began, and it's still what drives us.Every year, we donate a series of films to charities we care about. We offer discounted rates to not-for-profits and regularly reinvest a portion of our income into causes and campaigns that align with our values.

Whether we’re filming youth theatre projects, highlighting grassroots initiatives, or creating content to support new charitable partners, this work continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.
