#AMAZINGFILM BEST SHORT FILMS OF FEBRUARY

Every Friday over on our Twitter and Facebook feeds, we pick out the best short films from across the web that made a particular impression on us. From animations, to narrative and documentary shorts; it's always good to check out other creators' work. With another month over, we've compiled all of February's picks into one handy list! TOMORROW'S ON FIRE - DARCY PRENDERGAST

Often some of the most memorable shorts are ones which use the medium in relevant ways. Perhaps to react to pressing issues and problems in an interesting way. Our first pick from February is a perfect example of this. Prendergast's brilliant animated short visualises a spoken word poem, in response to the horrific bush fires that ravaged Australia earlier this year. It's a powerful, important piece that you really shouldn't miss.

GOLDMAN v SILVERMAN - JOSH & BENNY SAFDIE

Hot off their acclaimed 2nd feature, Uncut Gems, the Safdie Bros put this zany short together. It follows two rival entertainers in Times Sq, who have a somewhat tense relationship. It may be firmly on the strange and surreal side of things - but it still manages to be oddly engrossing and effective.

CHUNYUN - JONATHAN BREGEL

Our final pick of February was Jonathan Bregel's meditative look at the largest annual human migration, taking place every Chinese new year. With stunning cinematography & a brilliant building score, Bregel captures the feeling of returning home perfectly. This is definitely one for fans of beautiful framing and quieter narratives...
