We’re racing through December here in Bethnal Green – it’s hard to believe Christmas is only one week away! Things generally start to wind down around the end of the year, but this week we’ve been as busy as ever getting everything ready for Lincoln Japan Festival 2017.
Down in our London office, Chris has been working on the brochure, banner and general marketing design for Lincoln Japan Festival. The brochures are looking amazing and we can’t wait to get them printed! Look out for them if you’re in Lincoln early next year.
Meanwhile, our Lincoln office has been a hub of feverish activity as Mikaela and David work towards launching the festival. Tickets are now available from the website, which has been revamped to showcase our full schedule, links to ticket sales, our promotional video and images from previous festivals!
David has been contacting local businesses to increase involvement and awareness for the festival. One of our aims is to promote arts and culture across Lincolnshire, driving new audiences to the city’s varied venues, so the more partners we have, the better!
Meanwhile Mikaela has been busy taking meetings and interviews; we featured in Lincolnshire Live earlier this week after an impromptu press chat she had with Dawn for ‘What’s on’ Lincoln. Mikaela also had a great meeting with Linc Sushi delivery, who will be catering at our Nintendo event! We can definitely recommend them – chatting about her different sushi options made Mikaela so hungry she ordered a bunch for this evening!
Aside from Japan Festival, David was also on BBC Radio Lincolnshires breakfast show yesterday talking about one of his favourite christmas films, It’s A Wonderful Life, and the Christmas screenings we’ll be havign for Flix In The Stix. Amazingly, a family came along to that night’s Fiskerton showing all the way from Newark after hearing him on the radio!
