Bon Appetit
Skills:Short Film
Synopsis
Anyone who’s had to endure the pain of a dinner party attended by self-obsessed, insensitive and irritatingly affectionate couples will empathise with the lead character in this collaboratively produced and directed black comedy.
It centres around the only single person at the table and how his vivid imagination helps him get through the ordeal. But as the division between his daydreams and reality begins to blur, events take a turn for the worse.
Bon Appetit was conceived, planned and produced over a five-day trip to the South of France, meaning much of the film was improvised and made use of whatever props and equipment were available.
